NIIF TERENA Certificate Service (TCS)

NIIF TCS server certificate service Within the NIIF TERENA Certificate Service server administrators may request such certificates that are subscribed by GlobalSign whose root certificate is incorporated in most of the recently used web browsers like MS Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Safari. If users access a https web page facilitated with TERENA SCS certificate they will not get the usual security pop-up warning reminding to that an insecure site is being accessed.

Certificates can be requested by those NIIF partners who has established a special agreement contract with NIIF for this particular purpose.

The certificates are not free of charge, one certificate costs 10.000 HUF. Beyond 20 certificates, however, 200.000 HUF flat rate is applied.
