1. NIIF CA root certificate installálása

Note: NIIF CA issues certificates only for the members of the Hungarian academic community, and only for well defined purposes! Both personal certificates and server/device certificates may be requested.

In order to get a personal certificate, requestor must be properly authenticated by a member of the HREF (Hungarian Research & Education Federation) AAI. (List of federation members)

The Registration Authority (RA) is responsible for the communication with the certificate requestors and owners. It is also responsible for the identification and authorization of the certificate subjects.

Requests for new certificates, renewal of existing certificates, suspending certificates or withdrawing certificates can be submitted to the RA.

Questions and comments regarding the service can also be sent to the RA.

The NIIF CA provides PKI services for the user community of Hungarian National Research and Educational Network. Certificates are issued to staff persons and students of NIIF member organizations (ie. Hungarian universities, high-schools, research institutes of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, public collections etc.) and any other organization cooperating with these entities in the practice of research, and educational functions. Certificates may also be issued to network hosts and application services operated by the above organizations.
